It seems perfumes are as old as humankind; because the flowers always existed on the earth and still are the main sources of fragrance materials. Perfumes has been long used by ancient Chinese, Persian and Roman, but perfume industry found its way to mature after industrial revolution. A revolution occurred also in the perfume industry along with the industrial revolution, so modern fine fragrances began to produce gradually.
