As previously said, perfume industry is absolutely virgin area in Iran, from raw material cultivation and processing, synthetic chemicals production, and perfume design, to equipment, laboratorial devices, and packaging. Accordingly, we have no professional fragrance and flavor company within the country. In addition, the related industries also are dependent to the foreign establishments. Similarly, equipment’s and machinery design and construction, technical knowledge preparation, process design, and fragrance formulation does not carry out in Iran. This is right also in the field of aromatherapy. In spite of the lack of any activity, there are considerable need as well as a good market for these activities. Of course, it needs a great amount of volition to develop in any of the above fields.
