Perfumer is who designs the perfume, like a musician that blends limited notes to create various melodies, a perfumer also attempts to create the best possible scent based on the briefs which he/she receives or based on his/her own aspiration. In laboratory, perfumers makes base perfumes by combining different fragrance ingredients and register it to perfume manufacturer. The formulation is secret. Generally there are around 1000 fragrance materials in every fragrance house. Based on their usage tonnage and properties, they are kept in similar or different reservoir tanks. The tanks are linked to the production line with some pipes. In the production line, ingredients are manually or automatically mixed in a mixer. The amount of each ingredient is determined through formulation prepared by the perfumer.
